First, carefully read the instructions for the assignment. You will then need to read Communicating Nutrition Information to an Athlete published by the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI). Staying within your scope of practice, use Best Practices 1-4 in the GSSI link to develop your handout.
The nutrition handout should be your individual work to demonstrate and reinforce the knowledge and skills learned in the Sports Nutrition Class.
Remember, as stated in the instructions, you will submit two documents:
1) A document of the Title Page with required information; and
2) The educational handout for Sports Nutrition.
