This is an opportunity to use your critical thinking skills to consider a fresh perspective through a new lens. Instead of marijuana, euthanasia, death penalty, vaccines or abortion, write about a topic that relates more directly to your career goals or industry. Consider a topic where you have some expertise to share. This way, you can add the paper to your job portfolio.

Once you select your thesis, be sure to explore both sides of the issue and discuss objections. Be aware of .com sites which may not be considered academic or scholarly. Most importantly, always use your own words and do not copy and paste from online sources or use AI.
