My task is more complicated. I have a school project (to create a design for a new exhibit at the Oregon Zoo for cheetahs with a budget of 2 million dollars in a 3D program, ideally Tinkercad.com or Google drawing drawings/d/1SrNmJdE6zoXx1rzerNTcTdBbWJRrK3Iv42UIqqNmtrk/edit
I have a certain idea, with the help of AI we created a basic design and an accompanying speech (in file), which we will implement on this design. Now we need an image from one of the above programs, so we will present this new image with the attached speech. Of course, I welcome any possible changes for the better, even further improvements at your discretion.
In any case, the original assignment for the entire task was:
“This assignment will have you continuing to draft the Constraints & Considerations portion of your course project.
What you need to know:
Remember that your Course Project involves the development of an authentic Exhibit Design Proposal. You will be presenting to your classmates (and myself) as if we were an Exhibit Design Committee. You will be expected to incorporate the concepts and Course Outcomes learned throughout the class.
Therefore, each week, one of your assignments is to present on the component of your Course Project that we covered that week in class. Presentations are expected to be approximately 5 minutes in length. Professional attire is expected.
CONSTRAINTS & CONSIDERATIONS:
Budget
Climate and Thermoregulation
Infrastructure (drains and hoses…I cannot overstate the importance of these!)
Animal Management, including capture and husbandry
Safety & Barriers (locks, gates, doors, etc)
Timeline
This assignment draws on Google Drawing Links to an external site. and Tinkercad Links to an external site. . This week, you should spend quite a bit of time on the development of your exhibit designs. The local topography and climate should be incorporated into your space at this point in relation to your chosen species. For example, are you designing for a cold-climate animal in a hot environment or vice versa? Be sure to make accommodations for this. Begin to think about drains, hoses, substrate, food prep and storage areas, etc. Also, incorporate barriers and access points into your design at this stage.
Be prepared to verbally explain your budget and how it impacted your design.”
