PART 3: PARENTING ACTION PLAN (1900 – 3000 words; 200 points)
You’ve crafted your case study. You’ve done your research on the topic. Now it’s time to identify some solutions in the form of a Parenting Action Plan.
Your Parenting Action Plan will build on Parts 1 and 2 of this project, but will include a few additional components and significantly expanded discussion. The research you have done for your Annotated Bibliography should be carefully woven into your Action Plan. Use the research to explain, justify, and/or illustrate your conclusions and the actions you are proposing.
Your essay should be written in your own words and you should always cite any ideas that come from another source. Quotes should be used sparingly and for support of your ideas; the bulk of the essay should be in your own words.
The paper you turn in for this assignment should include
1. Introduction (2-4 paragraphs: 300 – 500 words)
The Introduction should include the following elements:
Copy and paste your case study scenario at the beginning of your document to provide the context for your research essay (does not count toward total word count). .
Present a statement of the problem: A statement of the key issues that must be explored in order to resolve your case study.
2. Action Plan (main body of essay: 1500 – 2500 words)
Identify an action plan grounded in research that may address concerns posed by the case study (you may want to use Step 7 of the Planning Table from Part 1 to help you organize this plan).
This Action Plan should include the following elements:
Describe at least 2-3 issues/problems/concerns posed by the case study (revisit Step 7 of the Planning Table from Part 1).
Describe at least 2-3 potential sites of impact and the potential impacts for each site (revisit Step 6 of the Planning Table from Part 1).
Incorporate parenting or developmental theories to provide a framework for the proposed Action Plan. If you refer to our class learning resources (quote, paraphrase, or summarize), remember to cite them.
Incorporate at least 10 scholarly or credible sources published within the past 10 years that can be used to support a Parenting Action Plan. At least 5 of these sources must be scholarly Social Science research articles, and at least 3 of the sources must have been published within the last 3 years.
3. References list (does not count toward total word count)
Format the References list in APA 7 citation style

I HAVE ATTACHED PARTS ONE AND TWO TO THIS ASSIGNMENT
THE COMMENT BELOW IS FROM THE PROFESSOR AND I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE WORKED INTO THE FINAL PROJECT
For Part 3, you may want to look for a few more online resources for your parent action plan that would be accessible to parents who are not familiar with social science vocabulary. The AAP website healthychildren.org is a good source for looking for handouts or short articles.
